sorry i cant say that i know what Big Krs 1 is talkin bout. its prolly due to the fact that its beyond my time, but everything he said bout the industry is true....there is definitely way more commercialized music, especially w/hip hop. but i think because we have all that crap cloggin up the radio waves and stations and tv...gives us REAL artists who strive to create original and innovative piece for hip hop are allowed to stay underground and build ourselves through much more tangible networking rather than gettin signed and jus bein a tool of a label and being pushed to find that "NEW SOUND" and become some muthafuckaz next big break.
